We typically have 50-100 candidates in our selection pool at any one time. We've selected a few "typical" candidate profiles - taken from actual applications on file - to give you a sampling of the type of candidates you will see as one of our participating families. Processing time of 3-4-6months. Depending on the country your selected Nanny/Caregiver is coming from.

I am Elsbeth, 36 years of age, physically fit, committed, flexible and a Nurse by Profession. I have been working in the Middle East since the year 2000. I was first employed in Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 3 years, and now I am presently employed here in Jeddah for my second contractual work as a staff nurse. Further I am exposed to different scope of clinical problems here which eventually strengthen my patience, commitment and dedications.

My Profession as a Nurse indeed is a fulfilment to me, I have realized how lucky am i to be of help not just to my own family but those who also need my help. However i need to broaden my horizon in all aspects to eventually fulfill the essence of primary care and public service. I decided to be a part in the Live-in Caregiver Program of Canada. It will allow me to further my experience and allow me to help my family even more. It has been said that Canada is a country of opportunities to those who are hardworking, and have initiative.

I am attended and contributed several in-service educational programs such as Basic Life Support Provider with certificate. Fire and Safety Training with certificate, Proper Body Lifting Mechanics in bedridden and disabled patients.

Skills: Nasogastric tube insertion and Feeding, Bedbathing, Pressure sore Management, Blood glucose checking,Oral and Nasopharyngeal suctioning,Tracheostomy care and Suctioing,Ostomy care,Urethral care insertion.Manual Evacuation.Turning bedridden every 2 hours, Mouth care, Eye care. Bronchial tapping, Postural Drainage, Care of Diabetic Foot. Proper Skin care of bedbound patient to prevent decubiti, Oxygen administration.

Its my first time to work as a live in caregiver, I am always willing to develop my skills and ready to learn. Hope you will give me a great chance.
