(Nanny) ELLEN 31yrs old

To My Future Employer:

I'm writing to you as an applicant for a live-in caregiver position. My name is Ellen, 31 years of age, married. I have 1 daughter I have completed a formal training course for live-in caregiver program designed for Canada. I have training in first aid and basic life support (adult, child and infant CPR). I’m currently working here in Dubai as Teacher Assistant in Nursery School.

I believe every person must possess or learn this basic safety and security so that we can be of help to others at all times. I have a pleasant disposition and can handle decision making situations. I am flexible, patient, dependable, reliable, efficient, fun loving, fast learner, playful with children, understanding, sympathetic, and can take responsibility with or without supervision.

I feel that I am qualified to fill the position of a live-in caregiver, because of my training and experience. Aside from my knowledge and skills in Computer Operation, food preparation and nutrition, safety and security, I'm also trained to give special care for the child, elderly and physically challenged. My hands on experience in taking care of children is by taking care of my daughter, nephews, nieces and my current experience in Nursery School of different age group, since birth up to school age children makes me qualified for the job.

I have experience in bathing, dressing, dental care, meal preparation, school assignments and projects. I also attend to their school programs, meetings and it's also my responsibility to check and monitor their everyday activities. I've been there to guide them because we're just living in one house that's why I practically watched them grow. My parents brought us up to be like this to help and support any member of the family in any way that we could help one other.

As a care provider to my daughter, nephews and nieces i have the same interests or things in common we love to eat, i enjoy cooking, doing household chores, sing, dance, swimming and organize indoors and outdoors activities. This becomes a bonding tool for us.

Through my experience, training, love, willingness and concern to serve and care for others made me developed the ability to handle the position of caregiver. My formal training and experience have been of the type necessary to the competent handling of the duties you require.

I am confident of my ability to demonstrate the full value of my services to you just as soon as you give me a chance to do so. You would find me quick learner, and appreciative of details. I have no restrictions on relocation and travel. I am accurate and orderly in my work and would be sincerely interested in being of maximum service to your family.

I look forward to hear from you!

Sincerely yours,

Ellen V.
